For anyone who operates, owns or installs EV chargers
Change your software. Keep your chargers.
Old or new, whatever the brand, GFO Omni runs all your chargers from one screen. Without replacing a single one.
30-minute video call. We’ll tell you which chargers can be switched remotely.
Your first charge point is free.
All your chargers, one screen.
Yesterday’s chargers.
The chargers you have had in service for years, running OCPP 1.6. There is no need to replace them. Start, stop, unlock, update: you manage them from GFO Omni just as you do the newest ones.
Today’s chargers.
Recent chargers, running OCPP 2.0.1 and 2.1, do more than their predecessors. GFO Omni already runs them. If your current software can’t talk to them, GFO Omni can.
And tomorrow’s.
For the chargers you are about to install, choose any brand you like. They join the same screen as all the others.
Connected to GFO Omni, usually remotely.
Your chargers already have software. We switch them over to GFO Omni, remotely in most cases.
They don’t have any yet. We configure them, again remotely in most cases.
They are new. We connect them to GFO Omni during installation, so they are ready as soon as they are commissioned.
No surprises: before we start, we tell you which chargers need a site visit.
What newer chargers bring.
Three advantages of newer chargers, all already supported by GFO Omni on the same screen as your other chargers.
Smart charging module
More chargers on the same grid connection.
The module splits power between your chargers, within the limits of your grid connection. It factors in the building’s consumption and your solar production, and gives priority to the car that leaves first.
Why it matters. For a large site, grid connection studies and permits can take 12 to 24 months. Avere-France
Cable or induction, one platform.
GFO Omni is ready for wireless charging. An induction charger with its ground pad is managed like your cable chargers, on the same screen.
Chargers that work,
and the rules that apply.
GFO Omni has the industry standards built in. For the rules that apply to you as the operator, it gives you tools to help you respond to them.
OCPP 1.6, 2.0.1 and 2.1Charger protocol
Built inThe common language between charger and software: GFO Omni manages all three versions and validates every 2.x request against the official schema.
OCPIRoaming
Built inChargers visible in other networks’ apps: GFO Omni sends the live status of every public charger to your partners.
ISO 15118Plug & Charge
Built inCars recognised the moment they plug in: GFO Omni supports it on compatible OCPP 2.0.1 and 2.1 chargers.
AFIREU regulation
Helps with the rulesClear prices and real-time data: GFO Omni shares the status of your chargers and displays the price on 2.1 chargers.
NIS2Cybersecurity
Helps with the rulesControl who can access what, and keep a record: GFO Omni provides roles and permissions, two-factor authentication and a command log.
GDPRData protection
Helps with the rulesProtect drivers’ data: GFO Omni is hosted in France and can anonymise drivers in reports.
Why it matters.
A charger that falls short of the rules is costly, even when it works.
Fines.
In France, up to €75,000 for a company over pricing or payment, and up to €300 per charge point over data or roaming.
Lost tender points.
Public buyers score interoperability and availability. In the Sigeif tender, each is worth 12% of the score.
Invisible chargers.
Without roaming, they don’t show up in other networks’ apps. French law requires roaming on public chargers that are remotely monitored and installed since 2017.
Outdated chargers.
From 1 January 2027, new or renovated chargers must support ISO 15118-20. Your software needs to be able to manage them.
European deadlines
Already in GFO OmniAFIR applies: clear prices, and ad hoc charging without a subscription.
Price shown, 2.1 chargers
All public chargers must be digitally connected.
Remote management
Real-time charger status, open to everyone.
Real-time status
ISO 15118 on new or renovated public chargers.
Plug & Charge

Your questions.
Are my chargers compatible?
Yes, whatever the brand, as long as they run OCPP 1.6, 2.0.1 or 2.1. Some need an update to their internal software: the diagnosis tells you before we start. Not sure? Send us a list of your chargers.
How long does the switch take?
It depends on your chargers and your current provider, so we won’t quote a timeline we can’t back up. Before we start, we tell you, charger by charger, which ones need a site visit. Then we begin with one site: each charger appears in GFO Omni as soon as it connects. You judge the results, then we roll out to the rest of your chargers.
What if a charger can’t connect?
Nothing switches all at once: we go charger by charger. A recent charger (OCPP 2.0.1 or 2.1) that can’t reach GFO Omni falls back to its previous software on its own, as the standard provides. For older ones, we check each charger before switching it, and the diagnosis flags in advance those that need a site visit.
What about my chargers’ SIM cards?
They often belong to your previous provider. We plan the replacement with you.
