GFO Compliance
Your charging invoices go electronic. Without changing tools.
GFO Omni prepares every invoice and every e-reporting submission. A platform approved by the French tax authority seals and sends them. Everything is in one place, inside your software.
September 2026 is already here.
September 2027, it’s everyone’s turn.
Since 1 September 2026, every company must be able to receive e-invoices. SMEs and micro-businesses issue them, and file their e-reporting, by 1 September 2027 at the latest. E-reporting means declaring your sales to individuals to the tax authority. GFO Omni is ready for both dates.
No postponement: the French tax authority is keeping the timetable. Source: impots.gouv.fr, practical guide to getting started, July 2026.
A PDF invoice is not an e-invoice.
A PDF is read by eye, then typed in again. An e-invoice is read by software: every amount, rate and number is data, exchanged between approved platforms.
An invoice goes out. Follow it.
1
The charging session ends.
The charge point sends the session to GFO Omni: energy, duration, price.
2
The receipt forms.
Straight away, with the details of the session.
3
It becomes an invoice, in GFO Omni.
With the details the reform requires, including your customer’s SIREN (French company number).
4
The approved platform seals and time-stamps it.
It can no longer be changed, and its time is recorded. Approved by the French tax authority, the platform also sends the data to the authority.
5
Your customer receives it.
In their software or on their platform. Nothing to print, nothing to send.
6
The status turns green.
You follow it in GFO Omni, next to your sessions.
Two flows, sorted for you.
A charging session sold to an individual driver doesn’t produce an e-invoice: it goes into a daily total, by VAT rate, with no personal data. This is called e-reporting.
- An individual driver pays by card: the session goes into the daily total.
- A fleet or a company receives an e-invoice.
- A local authority receives its invoice through Chorus Pro, the French public-sector invoicing portal.

GFO Omni sorts every session.
Roaming between operators is also invoiced electronically between companies established in France.
Everything in one place.
Your invoices are already in GFO Omni, with your sessions, RFID cards and tariffs. Each invoice shows its e-invoicing status, from creation to approval. Sales to individual drivers appear in the daily total.
Who is it for?
Charge point operators
Every session follows the right route, invoice or declaration, with nothing re-keyed.
Fleets and companies
An e-invoice in the company’s name, with the details of every session.
Local authorities
Invoices exchanged with public buyers go through Chorus Pro.
Hotels and shops
Your individual customers pay at the charge point: their sessions go into the daily total, with no personal data. A company receives its e-invoice.
Co-owned residential buildings
A clear invoice for each resident: the date, the kWh, the price per kWh.

Your questions.
Does this apply to me now?
Since 1 September 2026, every VAT-registered company must be able to receive e-invoices, and large and mid-sized companies already issue them. If you’re an SME or a micro-business, you issue e-invoices and file your e-reporting by 1 September 2027 at the latest.
Does a session paid by an individual driver produce an e-invoice?
No. It’s declared through e-reporting: a daily total, by VAT rate, with no personal data. GFO Omni prepares it and the approved platform sends it.
What is an approved platform?
A provider registered with the French tax authority. It issues, sends and receives e-invoices, and passes the data on to the tax authority. GFO Omni connects to it for you.
What does “sealed and time-stamped” mean?
The approved platform seals every invoice and every receipt, and records the exact time it went through. Once sealed, an invoice can no longer be changed.
What if I use other software for my charge points?
That’s what the “with your current software” service is for. We look at your setup, collect your sales, and your invoices follow the same path.
Who should I ask about my obligations?
Your accountant remains your point of contact for your obligations. E-invoicing relies on a platform approved by the French tax authority; GFO Omni connects to it for you.
